It was a crazy week, what with 2 surgeries (on me), packing the POD, and saying goodbye to great friends. Not to be defeated by circumstances, I purchased new plane tickets and rearranged my itinerary slightly. I will be leaving tomorrow night on a 15 hour journey that will deliver me to the south island of new Zealand.
Random thoughts: I'm grateful for and amazed at the way my friends helped me through such a difficult and scary time. I wasn't surprised, but still ever so grateful for the old friends who were there for me. I was surprised and amazed at how some others who I haven't known as long came through for me as if they were family. I'm blessed with great people in my life.
